Incoming Chairman Sandra Salgado talks to outgoing Chairman Mike Tryon before the Republican Party’s County Convention.

The McHenry County Chairman’s Circle was a committee created by Mike Tryon when he was Chairman of the McHenry County Republican Central Committee.

Concurrent with his election as Chairman, Fred Wickham was elected as Treasurer.  Wickham promised open books for any Precinct Committeeman.

Tryon collected money that otherwise might have gone to the Central Committee for his Chairman’s Circle.

He brought in prominent speakers.

Those attending paid sizable amounts to attend breakfasts at Crystal Lake’s 1776.

Now that Tryon is no longer head of the local GOP, having been replaced by Sande Salgado when Tryon retired, the fund doesn’t have money flowing in.

There is $84.21 in the bank.

It has a debt of $500 to the Committee to Elect Michael Tryon.
