“A State Representative from the 66th District must go to Springfield and continue to work with the Governor and members of any party to push forward meaningful reform and begin the financial turnaround in Illinois.”

As a McHenry County prosecutor since 2012, Wilbrandt has pursued justice and worked to make McHenry County’s neighborhoods and roads safer for all residents.

As an elected Village Trustee in West Dundee, he has sought municipal efficiencies by working with other area units of government.

Wilbrandt has also worked to establish stronger financial controls in the Village budget process while enhancing financial transparency and reporting.

Wilbrandt has served as the trustee liaison for the police and fire departments and the QuadCom and Joint Emergency Telephone System boards since 2013.

“There are issues facing McHenry and Kane Counties.

“The 66th District needs a State Representative that will represent the entire district. I look to continue my public service to both counties,” said Wilbrandt.

Wilbrandt earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in communication from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

After graduating from the University of Illinois, he earned his J.D. from the John Marshall Law School (Chicago).

  1. I asked a question hoping for confirmation, I never said surprised?

Interesting, as far as experience is concerned.

Did he graduate just before 2012 when he started as a prosecutor?

Link me to his website I can look up his stats?

  2. Wilbrandt has been on the West Dundee board how long?

Observation: Bianchi is the County States Attorney; one of his employees is Ron Salgado who appears to run the County GOP behind the scenes along with an unelected Committeeman, Mickey Schuch; Ron’s daughter is the Chairman of the County GOP and works in the office of the County Sheriff; another one of Bianchi’s employees, Michael McCleary, is the Chairman of the Norwest Townships GOP in McHenry County; yet another employee of Bianchi is Demetri Tsilimigras, who is the Chairman of the Algonquin Township GOP.

Now we have another employee of the County States Attorney’s office running for the office currently held by Mike Tryon.

The ‘old’ County GOP was in the process of eliminating the once well-run County GOP organization and needed to be replaced but have the GOP voters given Bianchi too much influence over the politics of the County?

  3. I seem to remember Paul Serwatka being an integral and well respected part of their “reform” movement.

Why are they not behind him any longer?

    Different principles?

Or does Serwatka just lack the necessary familial lineage?

    Hmmm…

  4. Questioning-BINGO!

Nothing has changed in the GOP except who runs the party.

Now another Bianchi “friend” is chosen to run for Tryon’s spot in the ILGOP.

I could add, at least it’s a Republican(?) candidate and not a couple of liberals like Erin and MIke Smith-some more of Bianchi’s “friends”.

  5. Oh boy, and he’s been on the govt payroll his entire career.

He has zero private sector experience.

    UGH!
