CL’s Independence Day Parade – 2

We continue today looking at things political in Crystal Lake’s July 4th Parade–held on July 5th.

McHenry County Board member Donna Kurtz rode on her Kurtzmobile.

Her mother, former State Rep. and now District 155 High School Board member Rosemary Kurtz, walked with her, as did McHenry County Board member Michael Walkup.

State Rep. Barb Wheeler’s group came next.

Tina Hill’s car came next.

"Thank You, Police Officers," read the banner in front of Walsh Freedom marchers.

Behind was a large contingent of Joe Walsh walkers.

Former Congressman Joe Walsh and others were shouting, "Thank you, Blue."

Applause met the Walsh Freedom contingent's support of police officers.
