More of the Crystal Lake Independence Day Parade.
The Republican Party float followed the Walsh Freedom walkers.
Many of those on and around it were also followers of Walsh.
Tailing the Republicans was McHenry County Board Chairman Joe Gottemoller.
The next entrant was McHenry County State’s Attorney Lou Bianchi.
He was blowing his signature whistle. Probably saves the voice.
State Rep. candidate Allen Skillicorn led a contingent of mainly Kane County followers after Bianchi.
Skillicorn even had the only elephant in the parade.
The float had Kane County Republican signs on it.
A past candidate for the Crystal Lake High School Board, Titus Mielke, was a Parade Marshall.
More tomorrow.
