Combining McHenry County’s Two Straw Polls

Two straw polls were taken after the Republican Presidential Debates on Thursday night.

One was in Lake in the Hills.

The second was in McHenry.

Combining the top choices of the two events gives us the following preferences of the selection of fifty-eight Republican diehards.

Scott Walker was the favorite of the fifty-seven Republicans watching the Presidential Debate at two locations in McHenry County.

Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker came out on top.

  • Ted Cruz – 11
  • Donald Trump – 9
  • Ben Carson – 6
  • Rand Paul – 5
  • Mark Rubio – 5
  • Mike Huckabee – 4
  • Jeb Bush – 1

Now let’s look at the percentages (rounded up):

  • Scott Walker – 31%
  • Ted Cruz – 17%
  • Donald Trump – 16%
  • Ben Carson – 10%
  • Rand Paul – 9%
  • Mark Rubio – 9%
  • Mike Huckabee – 7%
  • Jeb Bush – 2%

    My faith was low to begin with, now it’s nonexistent!

    With this mess of candidates and the anti-woman stance most of them have, none of them stand a chance to win.

  3. The liberal loons zeroed in on this post, didn’t they? hah! I’d take any one of the Republican candidates over the pathetic apologetic pansy-ass candidate, the Female Felon, and the Socialist the Dems have.
