  1. Nero fiddled while rome burned or look at this shiny object over here.

The State is broke and the Chicago Schools and Illinois employees pension funds are depleted.

Illinois politicians pass anything to distract from these hard realities.

  2. What corporation will make the body cameras.

I’d like to invest as they surely will profit from this.

  3. What’s wrong with a company selling a camera?

Who are the cops supposed to get cameras from?

    The Peoples Camera Manufacturers Union?

Would it be better that they not have cameras at all since a company is profiting?

What about cars, or clothes, or radios, since the companies who produce these items profit as well?

I hope you legitimately want to make money and aren’t making some weird tongue in cheek comment, but based on your other comments I suspect it’s the latter.

  4. Relax Joe.

    Nothing at wrong with that.

I just want a piece of the action.

As much as you would like to paint me a socialist I am very much a capitalist.

No need to start another red scare.

    It’s not 1960 anymore.

  5. Eric is right on the point that it is not 1960 anymore. It is post 1984 and Atlas is shrugging!

  6. When reading about the dystopian Oath keepers and the incessant rants about me, me, me aka individualism. You are probably right in saying we a moving that way. It doesn’t have to be that way. We all lose if we continue down that road.

  7. I think it’s good we’re trying to hold the police department more accountable.

  8. May be tort protection which will lead to lower costs (hopefully).

Does anyone know how/if Crystal Lake or Lakewood insure themselves?

    Do they pool?
