Appointed Circuit Court Judge James Cowlin has filed papers with the Illinois State Board of Elections indicating he is running for the office in the Republican Party Primary Election.

The form was signed on the August 22nd.

James Wright is Cowlin’s campaign Chairman.

Renee Buxton is his Treasurer.

McHenry County Assistant State’s Attorney Demetri Tsilimigras filed similar papers with the Board of Elections on Monday.
