NORTH AURORA, September 3, 2015 – State Senator and Chairman of Oberweis Dairy, Jim Oberweis, today announced his endorsement of Dan McConchie for State Representative in the 51st district.

Oberweis cited McConchie’s support for reducing regulations to create a more business-friendly environment and stand against rampant waste and abuse in state spending as some of the many reasons he backed the candidate.

Dan McConchie’s smart problem-solving skills would be a valuable asset in Springfield as we work to bring sanity back to our business regulations and spending priorities,” Oberweis stated.

“The only way to stem the tide of people and businesses leaving our state is to rein in our out-of-control government. Dan would not just be a vote in the right column, but would be a strong advocate working to enact Governor Rauner’s agenda. It’s time to end the Madigan shenanigans.”

Illinois’ 51st district is in the northwest Chicago suburbs and includes Barrington, Deer Park, Green Oaks, Hawthorn Woods, Kildeer, Lake Zurich, Libertyville, Long Grove, Mundelein and Vernon Hills.
