The McHenry County Republican Party’s annual fundraiser is being held at a hanger northeast of the Lake in the Hills Airport on Thursday from 6-8 with an entry fee of $50 unless one is a Precinct Committeeman, in which case, the sot is $20.
Good eats, I can attest from last year’s experience when Judy Baar Topinka was the main speaker.
Party Treasurer Chuck Wheeler is reporting pre-event donations of $1,000 or more, which is listed below:
- $3,675 – Madison Corporate Group, in-kind donation for Crystal Lake Plaza GOP headquarters
- $2,500 – Alliance Contractors, Woodstock
- $2,500 – Richard Uhilein, Lake Forest
- $1,000 – Intern, Union
- $1,000 – Citizens to Elect Lou Bianchi, Crystal Lake
$12,332.24 was in the bank at the end of June.
Local Democrats reported having $11,637.16 at the end of June.
Hopefully they will use some of that money to update their web site!
How do they expect people to recruit others for Committeemen if we can’t even find out which precincts are empty?
The County Clerk has been no help for either major party when it comes to committeemen listings!

I found all the committemen at the yearbook so not sure what and where you are looking
I am looking for an up to date list.
The County Clerk has posted who was elected in 2014.
There have been many changes since that time.
I know the Township Chairman in Algonquin recently resigned.
A political party should not be dependent on a County Clerk to present information related to a political party.
