My battery was running low, so I limited my picture taking to try to make sure I got all of the politicians.

The theme of the parade was “There’s nothing like home.”

The Genoa-Kingston High School Band was the third marching and entered in the post-parade contest.

Among the most interesting reminder of the Wizard of Oz were the attempts to show the tornado.

Then, I spotted another politician–Judge James Cowlin, appointed to fill Judge Gordon Graham’s seat and running for a six-year term.

His supporters were handing out cars with his name and web site on it.  Former Algonquin Township Republican Party Chairwoman Rebecca Lee wanted to make sure I got one.  I told her someone else had handed it to me.

An excellent Jack Sparrow imitator was again in the parade.

  1. Sorry I missed the parade.

    I would have liked one of those cars the judge handed out.

    On another note…those “Wizard of Oz” themes are weirding me out now that so much has come out about that movie being used as triggers for MK Ultra programing.
