Message of the Day – An Obituary

David H. Bird

David H. Bird

I didn’t know David H. Bird, an 82-year old Crystal Laker whose obituary I found in the last Thursday’s Northwest Herald this weekend.

But he or his family did something that I have never seen before.

Embedded in his obituary was this political message:

David felt now was a good time to go as he couldn’t bear to see another Clinton in office!

The exclamation mark is in the text.

  1. I guess he had dementia also.

If we all went by that we all should have gone when GW Bush was chosen by the supreme court entering into a state election matter something they never done before, and now we have HUGE as Trump would say problems.

How come our so called free press is not mentioning this.

At least the British people know what happened?

  2. R.I.P. Mr. Bird.

We now have one more good man on the other side …

  3. Karma, this isn’t about Bush.

It’s about saying he didn’t want to live to see another Clinton in office.

I will grant you this “I don’t want to see either get into high office ever again!” but this was the guys wish.

  4. Then he should have wanted to live and vote for someone else.

    Besides Bernie will win.

  5. Dave was a great guy, a great Lion, and a community volunteer through among many organizations like the Salvation Army. KARMA…….

I have no words for you….
