Valley Hi Nursing Home fund’s cash on hand from FY 2006 through FY 2016 (projected).  This has resulted in a tax protest suit, plus a McHenry County Board considering lowering next year’s taxes from the $3 million levied this year (FY15), which, as you can see above, is just putting more unneeded money in the bank.  The same result will occur next year with the $2.25 million levy being considered at Tuesday night’s County Board meeting at 7.
