Mike Skala
McHenry County Board Finance Committee Mike Skala’s petitions have been challenged by Republican Primary opponent Andy Snarski.
Skala is completing his first term on the County Board.
The only other challenge at the county level is one by Republican Precinct Committeeman Eric Dowd against his primary opponent Gary Kinshofer. Down is a member of the Regional Board of School Trustees.
On the state level, Steve Reick’s petitions for State Rep. were challenged by Carpenters Union Business Representative Ronald Eck, a resident of Bull Valley.
Skala is not new to the election rodeo and has major backing from his previous elections to a school board.
It doesn’t mean he is a good elected official but if the challenge wins I’ll be totally surprised.
