KMOX-TV in St. Louis has noticed that Illinois lost more residents than any other state in the union.
Whether it’s
- the weather
- looking for a job
- property taxes
- inheritance taxes
- feared income tax hike
- threatened income tax on retirement income
- the corruption
- the difficulty in selling one’s home or
- kids having graduated from high school and left the nest,
we in McHenry County know that people are leaving.
Bringing the story to the station’s attention was the Illinois Policy Institute.
You can read the Institute’s story here.
This is why we need to send Paul Serwatka to Springfield.
He will work on our behalf instead of on behalf of the ‘money’ people.
I have seen too many candidates being influenced by those who contribute monetarily to their campaign.
Paul will field a ‘boots on the ground’ campaign.
Merry Christmas McHenry County – our first Christmas out of state, and loving it!
Don’t forget, your property tax payments are just around the corner!
Power Mad Mike Madigan laughs at the residents of Illinois, giving us the middle finger and playing rope-a-dope with Rauner.
Smart people understand that Illinois will never be solvent again in our lifetime, and quite possibly the lifetime of our children and grandchildren.
Why stay only to “feed the beast ” that intends to financially destroy you ?
As the Great Exodus from Illinois continues ….. Happy New Year !
Honest Abe: The County Board (specially Miller, Schofield, Gottemoller et al) is trying to help the exodus by adding an interchange to the toll road in Marengo!
