A press release from Dr. Anne Majewski, McHenry County Coroner:

McHenry County Coroner, Dr. Anne Majewski, announced today that her office is investigating the death of a woman found outside her residence yesterday in Woodstock, IL.

The 70 year old female was found at 0900 by a caretaker and subsequently pronounced at 0923 at the scene.

Examination today revealed signs of cold exposure.

Final cause of death is pending further studies.

There was no evidence of foul play.

The Woodstock Police Department is also investigating.

The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of all family.
