Schofield Reports $14,200 — 15 Comments

  1. If I were Andy Zinke, knowing how toxic my endorsement is, I’d cut a bunch of $250 checks to every politician I dislike to see who’s cheap/desparate/unprincipled enough to take a reputation hit for a couple of ducats.

  2. RIGHT BOE!! Any candidate taking money from the Unions is another kiss of death!

Erin Smith is another red flag.

    $250 – Erin Smith, Lakewood

$250 – Citizens to Elect Zinke, Woodstock

    $500 – Intren, Union

  3. Zinke is well liked by many in the county.

He lost by something like 17 votes in his first election experience with a money and political insider disadvantage and against a some strong crossover vote.

At some point you Prim folks really need to get over it, grow up and move on.

It’s politics sometimes someone runs against you even if the guy was a better cop than politician.

  4. I am surprised we haven’t heard from that clown Duncan Mchenry, we all know how much love it has for the Zinke’s.

  5. Zinke had the the party apparatus behind him and the strong support of his predecessor, and he still managed to lose to an outsider with no political experience.

That takes a special kind of incompetence.

  6. Intren is a utility contractor in the town of Union that employs union labor.

  7. If Undersheriff-Emeritus Zinke is such a good, principled lawman, why is he installing garage doors instead of working law enforcement?

Surely some law enforcement outfit would jump at the chance to make such a great pick up, right?

I mean, come on, blowing up the RITA drug trafficking investigation was no big deal.

That’s standard lawman work, right there.

The memo that the Nygren Sheriff’s Office put the county on the hook for $80,000 in attorney fees because they didn’t want it to see the light of day wasn’t damning.

He should have a badge on his chest, a gun on his hip, and a $123,000/year administrative law enforcement job right now!

    Zinke for President 2016!

    He’ll never let us down!

  8. The list of contributors is a who’s who of what is wrong with the Republican party.

IMHO there is not one honest conservative in the group.

Everyone in the list wants to retain the OLD GOP hierarchy in McHenry County where they can dictate who gets to run for office.

Her support group believes the ‘PARTY’ should choose the candidates.

These same people would likely fully support a brokered GOP convention to prevent the outsider, Trump, from becoming the GOP candidate for President.

If you like what is happening in D.C., go along with this incompetent group of supporters.

If you like what Rauner is trying to do in Springfield, support Paul Serwatka.

D-66 GOP candidate breakdown (my opinion):

One candidate from East Dundee who is directed by Dan Proft.

One candidate from West Dundee who is directed by the Lou Bianchi.

One candidate from Crystal Lake who is controlled by the OLD guard GOP.

One candidate from Lakewood who will work for the people and NOT a group of people
with self-interests which they want to other people to pay for.

    Vote for Paul Serwatka.

  9. Carolyn handled the Consolidation dealy the best she could considering the mess it was.

Paul commented on Steve R. blog that the consolidation deal was not correct as presented also.

    Just saying.

  10. Eric, the only clown making comments on this story is you. Instead of showing up, you should do the ‘DISAPPEARING ACT”
