Carolyn Schofield, one of four candidates to replace State Rep. Mike Tryon, held a Downtown Crystal Lake fundraiser at the Old Towne Hall Wednesday night from 5-7.

Introduced by Tryon, Schofield spoke briefly to the crowd.
McHenry County Board member Tina Hill and State Senator Pam Althoff were amused at something someone at the table said.

Folks talked to each other before and after Schofield’s talk.
After Carolyn Schofield address the crowd, people got food, sat down and ate.

Her non verbal arm crossing, is a display of insecurity and distrust and funnier still, it’s her own fundraiser.
The other candidates in the race should have met a couple of months ago and played rock, paper, scissors to decide which one of them would remain on the ballot.
She will get all of the RINO vote, and the other three will split up the rest of it.
It’s a shame, because she is by far the worst of the four.
A strong conservative might have a real shot as a third party challenger against her and Nancy Zettler in the general election.
