Dan Regna Fundraiser

I didn’t get to the Dan Regna for State’s Attorney fundraiser at d’Andrea’s on January 21st.

That was the same night as the candidate Patrick Kenneally’s Meet & Greet at the Crystal Lake Rib House.

Last night at Carolyn Schofield’s fundraiser at the Old Towne Hall, I got a chance to chat with Regna and told him I was willing to post candidate photos and press releases.  (Sometimes it takes some time, but I’m trying to get to them all.)

Today, Regna sent me pictures from the 21st, which you see below:

His friend and former colleague Joe Foster led the Pledge of Allegiance.

Leading the Pledge of Allegiance was West Point classmate LTC Joe Foster.

Attorney Don Brewer spoke to the crowd.

Former Algonquin Village and County Board member President Don Brewer addressed the crowd.

Former Crystal Lake Police Chief expressed his support for Regna.

Retired Crystal Lake Police Chief David Lindner spoke on Dan Regna's behalf.

And, of course, the candidate himself addressed those gathered.

After the formal part of the fundraiser, people posed for pictures.

Here is Regna with State Rep. Mike Tryon and Recorder of Deeds candidate Joni Smith.

Then, Regna and Tryon posed with McHenry County Board Chairman Joe Gottemoller.

Dan Regna Fundraiser — 23 Comments

  1. Not impressed with the lineup of people.

Dave Linder is “ONE BIG FAT RED FLAG!”

I am of the opinion, that he has no credibility.

If the people, only knew the half of it, they would be demanding pensions and prosecutions.

  2. The last person I would want speaking on my behalf would be Dave Linder.

This is the same Dave Linder involved in trying to take down Bianchi.

Daves support is because he is looking for a job along with Larry Mason.

    Nice hair color job Dave

  3. ‘Uptohere” that is absolutely right about Linder’s participation in the Bianchi take down.

Dave Linder’s bad history is very lengthy.

No one should be voting for candidates linked to Linder.

  4. Yep, the Regna Circus. Did they teach Andy, or did Andy teach them, or was it mutual and they taught each other? They probably rallied their best techniques so the circus could perform their best circus show acts.

  5. That is how this blog does a great service to the voters-all clowns, cheats and do nothing’s. You can see how people would vote by the company they keep!!

Any candidate In These pictures are poison!

  6. Do not see any “crowd shots”. Do birds of a feather flock together??

One of Dan’s co-workers at the Gary Pack State’s Attorney’s office where he worked, just got arrested for felony theft.
He worked in a very interesting office under Pack.

  7. A lot of mud flying in the comments sections from the hypocrites who support actions like this from current Sheriff’s department Command staff and Bianchi political ally, right? Let’s just not pretend the comments above aren’t dripping with hypocritical stances.

  8. Birds of a feather do flock together.

I should have attended just to view the opposition..

it is always known who the “good old boys” are…

and they all had a hand in continuing and propagating the Nygren regime….

and here is the proof folks all in one room…

    so now we know…

    Beware the Red flag………….

  9. Mr. Brewer has interesting reports with the ARDC – note the censures.

Would Regna hire him to work in the State’s Attorney’s office???

    Just asking.

  10. My thoughts-

I used to like Dan Regna.

    Then I met Andy Zinke.

Then I learned that Regna and Zinke were buddies.

Birds of a feather flock together.

I’ve known Pat Kenneally for quite a few years.

Never really much cared for Pat.

Thought of him as very cocky, and condescending (but smart).

This was further evidenced in his recent debate with Regna.

Immediately after Pat says how he’s happy they’re keeping things professional, he goes in for the attack.

    Regna maintains his professionalism.

Then I think again about the connection between Regna, Zinke, and the Nygren circus.

    I’ll be voting for Patrick.

  11. Patrick knows the job and is confident in it.

I recall having to have a surgery.

Patrick reminded me of that doctor.

The doctor did a great job.

He was not Mr. Slap you on the back and let’s have a beer buddy but he did a damn good job with my surgery and health issues.

That is what we get with Patrick Kenneally, a damn good job.

  12. Just remember, Nygren, Lowery, Zinke and Linder all supported Regna in his quest to unseat Lou and how much it cost the County as a result of the prosecution.

  13. Looks like the waiting room of the Unemployment Office.

Is this the same Don Brewer who, as a salaried (get your paycheck whether or not you show up for meetings) board member, had the worst attendance record of any Board Member?

  14. Yah, they’re a bunch of old birds alright!

Regna and company are a bunch of “OLD CROWS” trying to regain the power of the old Regime.

    Out, with them boys.
