At its Thursday meeting the McHenry County Board’s Finance and Audit Committee came up with a majority to recommend Board approval of the Local 150 International Operating Engineers contract for employees of the County’s Facilities Department.
The vote was 4-1, with Chuck Wheeler being the only one in opposition.

- Jim Heisler
- Mike Skala
- Larry Smith
Hopefully the results of the vote on Tuesday night will be published somewhere.
Only one way to have flat budgets while increasing wages:
Fewer people AND less service.
