Carpenters Union Official Who Challenged Steve Reick’s Petitions on Jack Franks 2015 Fundraising Host Committee

Yesterday, McHenry County Blog revealed that Jeff Lichte, the man running against Republican Steve Reick in the GOP Primary Election on March 15th, is so cozy with Democrat State Rep. Jack Franks that he served on his 2015 Host Committee.

Today, take a look at another look at the Host Committee for Franks’ 2015 McHenry County (as opposed to Chicago) fundraiser.

On that list is the name of Bull Valley resident Ronald Eck, a Carpenters Union Official.

He’s the one who filed a challenge to real Republican Steve Reick’s petitions.

The name of Steve Reick petition challenger, Ron Eck, appears on State Rep. Jack Franks' 2015 Host Committee.

  1. What a surprise the same crooked bunch over and over again!

Don’t be fooled McHenry County voters, any vote for Frank’s is a vote for the Cook County machine corruption and we are NOT being served down state that way.

    We must support Steve Reick!

  2. The General Primary election is in 30 days, March 15, 2016.

There will be two people on the Republican ballot for the 63rd State Representative District – Steve Reick and Jeffery Lichte.

There will be one person on the Democratic ballot for the 63rd State Representative District – Jack Franks.

Other than being on this Republican primary ballot and one statement given to the League of Womens voters at the candidate forum at which he failed to appear, all Jeffery Lichte affiliations to be found are to the Democrat party.

That includes Mr. Lichte being on the Host Committee for the Jack Franks fundraiser in Union, Illinois on September 26, 2015 for which Franks is running as incumbent Democrat for 63rd House District.

Two months later Mr. Lichte filed on November 30, 2015 as Republican candidate for that same 63rd House District.

September 26, 2015 – Democrat Jack Franks Fundraiser held with Jeffery Lichte listed on the Host Committee for that fundraiser, Mr. Franks being the incumbent Illinois State Representative for the 63rd District.

November 30, 2015 – Mr. Lichte files as Republican candidate for State Representative 63rd District.

    ——–

Is Mr. Lichte a defector from the Democrat party?

Where is Mr. Lichte’s campaign literature supporting his positions?

Where is Mr. Lichte’s explanation of why he is a better candidate for 63rd District voters than Jack Franks, whom Mr. Lichte supported a few months before filing to run against Mr. Franks?

    —–

Jack Franks is also on the March 16th ballot as 14th Democratic delegate for Hillary Clinton, as he was in 2008.

  3. Stupid question…but has Franks ever gone on the record about his relationship with Lichte?

Or has anyone from a news organization even asked him?

Thought he would likely dodge it like a fat rubber ball…

  4. Mark, I believe the primary is March 15.

Might want to double check your info.

  5. Jeffery Lichte had since been photographed twice wearing a Jack Franks baseball hat.

Once at the McHenry Fiesta Days parade, in the parade driving a vehicle supporting Jack Franks.

After that, at a Jack Franks for Democrat County Board Chair campaign event in McHenry, a so called town hall meeting.

It is safe to say Jeffery Lichte was not a legitimate Republican candidate, and furthermore is associated with the Jack Franks Democrat campaign.

How man Republicans voting for Jeffery Lichte in the primary election, realized they were voting for a Democrat Jack Franks supporter?
