Regna, Hill Endorsed by Daily Herald — 14 Comments

  1. Could they pick anything worse??

    No.

Wilbeck, Tiro, and Keannelly are the BEST PEOPLE FOR THE JOB.

Regna does not even carry malpractice insurance or an office.

    Just a PO Box.

Years and years away from when he was a prosecutor.

What did accomplish there working for Gary Pack, who was caught protecting a friend from drug charges.

Patrick has done VERY WELL in his job.

    Did Regna get any awards?

Patrick got the Peace and Justice Award.

    Very worthwhile and important.

Being a softball coach and running a motor pool is not the experience needed for the State’s Attorney.

Regina cannot minimally compete with Kennealy’s record.

    No wonder newspapers are dying.

    Self inflicted.

  2. The Daily Herald is a Democrat paper; they usually want the weakest Republican possible.

They hit the jackpot this time.

  3. Dems want Regna inn. Then they will run someone against him and pour out ALL OF REGNA’S DIRT.

He should have been smarter than to start this garbage.

State’s Attorney’s need to be smart.

PATRICK KENNEALLY is the Right Choice.

  4. Dems want Regna inn.

Then they will run someone against him and pour out ALL OF REGNA’S DIRT.

Regina should have been smarter than to start this garbage.

Another reason not to vote for Regna.

  5. Another 3 paragraph endorsement.

Endorsements: Regna for McHenry County state’s attorney

    February 23, 2015

by the Daily Herald Editorial Board (who are the members of the board that made the endorsement?)

“…Regna holds an edge in experience, and we like his support for more transparency in the office, such as with cameras in the courtroom.”

Instead of all the fluffy articles why does the newspaper not spend more time on politics.

How are citizens supposed to learn all the issues if the newspaper coverage is scant on issues.

Well this blog definitely fills a void in newspaper coverage.

The Daily Herald does post candidate submitted questionnaire responses and every once in a while they will post a video.

Not good enough, in my opinion.

We are in a financial public sector debt and unfunded liability bubble and you would never know it from reading the Daily Herald.

“But candidate Tina Hill adds experience from her time on the county board, and she would bring that fresh look at the office’s operations.”

  6. Boethius to you

Just wondering who the local 150’s candidate for recorder is

Joe Tirio works for Monarch senior care

    Tina Hill County board member

Joni Smith works in the Recorder Office

    Post the Truth

  7. Joni Smith is the Local 150’s Candidate, married to a Union thug from operators 150 Union! They also financed her campaign.

Congratulations Tina on your endorsement. Nice picture of you.
Although it seems these newspapers endorsements are the kiss of death lately. You’re not in good company with who else they’ve endorsed.

  8. My son was on Regna’s Tee-Ball Team and he couldn’t even manage it with any competency whatsover, how the hell is he going to run the States Attorney’s Office? McHenry County voters beware!!
