The back has a picture of the Martin McLaughlin family, plus accomplishments during the three years he has served as Barrington Hills Village President.
Over the last weeks, I had an opportunity to meet Martin McLaughlin, one of the candidates running to replace former state Senator Dan Duffy’s seat in the 26th district.
In my mind, I think there’s little doubt that McLaughlin is the right man for the job.
Despite assertions in mailings and other media, that McLaughlin is posing as a Democrat, is not a fiscal conservative, none of these allegations have managed to convince me that McLaughlin isn’t exactly what Springfield needs.

I heard on the news that Madigan and the legislature will not reconvene until April 4, and the state continues into it’s ninth month without a budget.
Governor Rauner’s comment, that “they are dereliction of their duty.”
You betcha, I’m voting for McLaughlin.
I believe he will bring us that overdue change without the excuses..
