Reick on Star105

On the way to and from the McHenry Township Republican Central Committee’s $5 corn beef and cabbage dinner Sunday afternoon, I turned on the local radio station.

Steve Reick speaking to the Johnsburg GOP crowd.

Steve Reick speaking to the Johnsburg GOP crowd.

No political ads on the way up to Johnsburg (from about 2:40 to 3:10).

On the way back to Crystal Lake, however, I heard two.

One was for Joe Gottemoller.

Don’t have the text for that, but if he sends it to me, I’ll be happy to post it.

The other was for Steve Reick’s campaign for the Republican nomination for State Representative.

Here’s what it said by the announcer:

Corruption.

Greed.

Higher taxes and a crippled economy.

Career politicians in Springfield made this mess.

We need conservative reformers to clean it up.

Like Steve Reick.

Reick will fight the system from the inside, working to bust the Chicago machine, and hold Springfield accountable.

Steve Reick is on our side.

On March 15, vote for the common-sense Republican who shares our values.

Trusted, conservative, and on our side. Steve Reick for State Representative.

Paid for by Citizens to Elect Steven Reick.

  1. The only joke is what Illinois and McHenry County has become with the status quo Politicians.

Franks is Madigans Biatch, and there’s only one way to break that cycle of absolute disaster.

    VOTE STEVE REICK!

  2. ^^^^ high brow analysis right there.

Let me guess, you are voting Trump too?

Trump Reick 2016 – Make McHenry County Hate Again

  3. That will be the only way to break the death impact spiral and get a good reresentitve for McHenry Co.
    Support Steve tomorrow!

  4. Reick believes in gutting education and not paying his own taxes.

For all we know, he’s just in this job for the pension!

If some on this blog are so quick to point out that Jack Franks will maximize his pension this year, then shouldn’t they be honest that Reick is trying to get YOU the taxpayer to make a whole other pension for just him!!!

  5. I believe it takes eight years to qualify for a legislative pension and, even if Reick served 8 years and joined the pension system, it would be no where near as good as the one Jack is in and that I receive.

  6. OH PLEASE, MODERATE!

Will Reick even qualify for a pension after one or two terms??

We can’t afford Madigan’s puppet, Jack Franks!

  7. Here is a recap.

A fake Republican Jeffery Lichte is running against real Republican Steve Reick.

Here is the explanation, in comments of the following blog post, of why Jeffery Lichte is a fake Republican candidate.

That is the address of Shaw Decremer, whom the Chicago Tribune Editorial Board called Michael Madigan’s “top campaign aide” in a January 15, 2016 article titled, “Editorial: Michael Madigan vs. Somebody.”

The next day IEA’s IPACE filed a “correction” with the Illinois State Board of Elections.

“IPACE filed a Bl report regarding a contribution to the independent expenditure Government for the People that included a wrong address.

The correct address for that independent expend1ture should read as follows:
2978 Kentshire Circle, Naperville, IL 60564.

    Jim Reed, IPACE Coordinator”

Since the former address has a well connected political operative, and no one with known political ties, the reader can come to their own conclusion.
