Dan Duffy Resigning State Senate Seat to Head Prevent Child Abuse America — 3 Comments

  1. Dan Duffy resigning earlier to take a lobbyist job just like the guy he endorsed as a candidate had, and who he hopes will replace him till the next election, the same dude.

Timing after the primary vote of the resignation and getting a new job seems like a red flag.

Out with the old and in with the old?

  2. Hmmmm. . . .

Announcement one day after McChonchie is successfully elected . . .

How much will Dan Duffy be earning to keep the kids safe?

What academic or professional credentials does Duffy bring to this position?

By his academic background posted here, it appears nothing .

Cal, are you sure you have posted all of Duffy’s credentials?

This is like a trained hair stylist being hired as an automobile mechanic.

    It just doesn’t fit.

Wouldn’t at least a Masters Degree in social work be in order as well as some first hand experience in childhood fostering and mentoring programs?

I am left wondering if getting this position had anything to do with Duffy’s decision to put the political shiv in Martin McLaughlin’s back for support of McChonchie 4 days after Duffy strongly encouraged McLaughlin to get in the race as the best qualified candidate?

The song that comes to my mind when I read this blog is the ole Charlie Rich song . . . “Behind Closed Doors!”

    More questions than answers!

Rest assured, I will sleep better tonight knowing another ineffective Illinois politician has landed on his feet.

Well played Dan and I know, you are doing it for the kids.

  3. How come 97% of the counties in America have 211 helplines to get people to the right resource for help but Cook County doesn’t fund this.

Perhaps Dan should look into this?

http://helplinecenter.org/ Shame on Cook County and Illinois.
