  1. The latest Blanding turtle?

Is the middle class in our country not an endangered species?

What are elected officials doing to protect it?

All I see is more public sector wage increases, more diversion of tax dollars to not for profits, higher taxes, more waste of taxpayer dollars to settle lawsuits (eg. Local 150).

I see nothing relative to elimination of public sector pension guarantees, passage of ‘right to work’ laws, elimination of prevailing wage laws and project labor agreements.

Instead, I see a silly bill (documentation requirements for T & E expenses) which will do nothing to reduce my bill and a local attempt to reduce the size of the County Board which is likely to cause an increase in my tax bill.

Oh,yes, what is the status of term limits petition?

  2. The residue from all the power boats above the dam is more damaging than any bridge would be.
