Meanwhile local Democratic State Representative Jack Franks is trying to alter his image in the reapportionment game.

He is sponsoring a Constitutional Amendment that would remove himself from the very active role he played in drawing his own district lines after the 2000 and 2010 U.S. Census.

  1. Answer: He’s just a mercenary who gets paid $1 for each valid signature.

He works the whole NW rail line …

    I’ve talked to the chap.

I’d be quite surprised if he could spell ‘gerrymandering,’

  2. Seems to me that a referendum on “term limits” would be far more appreciated by the ordinary folks.

  3. Gerrymandering will only stop completely if a computer is programmed by outsiders to form the districts.

Boxes, present legal boundaries, rivers and lakes, population, but no consideration for past voting or any other political nonsense.

A commission would still have some bias no matter who appoints them.
