  1. Thanks go out to the Chairman of the McHenry County Township Supervisors (he voted in favor of some Township consolidation, those members of the County Board and State Legislators who supported Township Consolidation for the full slate of Democrat candidates for County Board.

  2. Apparently the Democrats could not find ANY Progressive to fill Jack Franks lying shoes.

  3. This is great to have competition.

Brings out the best in everyone

  4. **Apparently the Democrats could not find ANY Progressive to fill Jack Franks lying shoes.**

Franks’ replacement doesn’t need to do petitions or file by the deadline.

The Party will be able to slate someone as soon as Franks drops out.

    **Leave Three Statewide Vacancies**

    Huh?

  5. Funny how Jack Franks didn’t want competition in the worst way.

Funnier is how McHenry County Republicans accommodated his desire.

  6. What bothers me is that most of them never ran in the Primary!

Though it is perfectly legal the problem I have is that they never had to go through any scrutiny what so ever.

Makes it easier in my opinion for them.

Hopefully the Republicans will be able to win those seats.

But the biggest thing will be defeating Jack!

  7. Look through whatever colored glasses you choose, Jack still crushes Walkup!

Word has it, Jack has ordered 6,000 yard signs.

  8. Hopefully you meant funny as in odd; because nothing about Franks is funny.

  9. There have always been two parties in McHenry County… they just always voted in the Republican primary.

    Thank you Colonel Sanders.

  10. There have always been Dem in this county, but with the lack of fiscal responsible budgets by the so called Rep, the Dem have come out of the wood work claiming as always a better way.

It’s not like I know a fiscally responsible Dem, but I do know allot of over spending Rep in this county.

No matter what party they claim to represent, if they have been in office for awhile, they seem to have missed the change in Tax payers modes since the last economic turn down.

Or they just don’t care because they know fools will keep voting for them.

Blinder like in the past is most of the reason we rank so high in Property rates.
