From the Huntley Police Department:

July 25, 2016 Kevan K. Clark, age 59, of 6984 S. Calumet Ave., Chicago, IL was arrested for theft of lost/mislaid property at a gas station in the 13,200 block of Rt. 47. In a separate incident Mr. Clark was charged with driving while license suspended near the intersection of Main St. and Ruth Rd.

Mr. Clark posted bond and was released with a Kane County court date of August 12, 2016 for the theft charge and a McHenry County court date of September 9, 2016 for the traffic charge.

July 26, 2016 A 16 year old boy from Huntley was arrested for retail theft at a store in the 12300 block of Village Green Dr. The boy was released to his father and will attend peer jury.

July 27, 2016 Two burglary to motor vehicle reports were taken in the 9900 block of Berkshire Ln. A purse and electronics were reported stolen from unlocked vehicles.

July 27, 2016 Ginne M. Edwards, age 53, of 420 Brookwood Trl., McHenry, IL was arrested on an outstanding McHenry County warrant for failure to appear in court on a resisting or obstructing a peace officer charge, near the intersection of Rt. 47 and Main St. Ms. Edwards was transported to McHenry County jail to await bond.

July 28, 2016 A theft report was taken at a residence in the 10800 block of Concord Ln. Cash was reported stolen.

July 31, 2016 Taylor B. Jones, age 33, of 9461 Welsh, Huntley, IL was arrested for speeding over 40 MPH above the speed limit and operation of an uninsured motor vehicle, in the 13500 block of Rt. 47. Mr. Jones posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of September 9, 2016.

July 31, 2016 A theft report was taken at an assisted living facility in the 12500 block of Regency Parkway. Prescription medication was reported stolen.
