  1. It matters not.

Duckworth will win anyway, and we will still be stuck with the RINO Kirk
who won’t endorse Trump over the Hildabeast.

I still can’t believe the military let either one of them fly aircraft.

  2. I grew up in the same suburb as Kirk.

My older sister used to hang around with him some back in grade school.

He always seemed kind of strange to me.

I don’t think he was ever a pilot, but he was very fond of having his picture taken wearing a flight suit.

I never did like the guy, he just seemed like a little creep to me.

It turned out the my childhood instincts were 100% spot on.

  3. Cal, Not sure which bothers me more…

Reading about Kirk and Duckworth or reading “curiouser and curiouser”…

How about “more and more curious”!

Coming from a Chicago Public School education, I expect my words will weigh heavy!

  4. Gabby Gifford has not personally endorsed Kirk but her gun control PAC did.

    Which is curiouser for sure.

  5. Paul?

    Don’t know any Lewis Carroll?

    Cal?

Apparently your antiquated humor is lost on some of the neophites.

  6. This is a democratic Jedi mindtrick move.

In Giffords endorsing Kirk, she is implicitly drawing attention to gun violence, an issue that is a rallying point for Dems.

Duckworth will undoubtably win and Kirk’s anti-gun position will be further discriminated among GOP circles.

  7. The people lose either way.

The Chicago Democratic cesspool machine will destroy this State in due course.

  8. [This may be a first.]

I agree with Moderate’s first two sentences.

    Good call!

  9. Cindy- Do you really feel it represents your Christian values to make fun of people with brain damage?

Many people, including Kirk, have suffered horribly from brain damage from strokes and other causes.

It is devastating to their families too.

    WWJD?

    What next?

A joke about Duckworth not being a good dancer?

  10. That was no joke.

    I WAS SERIOUS!!

I have a traumatically brain injured child.

So shut the f up Drunken!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  11. Mr Serwatka: the expression “curiouser and curiouser,” is from Alice in Wonderland.

Folks use it to emphasize the through-the-looking-glass character of that in which they comment.

  12. Ha! Thank you, Cindy and Martin.

Further evidencing the deprived childhood that was mine…

    No “white privilege” here!

My wife also knew the reference to Alice in Wonderland, immediately.

I have requested to be present at the next reading for my 3-year old daughter…

  13. So Cindy, you’re saying your mis-spellings were not an intentional attempt at humor?

You could be a very bad speller/typist, in which case I do apologize.

Or you’re a liar, in which case; What kind of mother would enjoy joking about TBIs when their own child has suffered the same?

And just so you know I don’t take this casually, last week I spent two hours teaching a class to adult stroke and TBI victims.

Wow, shut the”f’ up doesn’t sound very Christian to me.

Civil discourse just not your thing?
