District 2 McHenry County Board GOP candidate John Reinert has set a date for his fundraiser.
It’s a month from now and costs $40.
Just like this spring, the event will be held at the Crystal Lake Brewery in Downtown Crystal Lake.
Quite a transformation from Reickert Chevrolet.

How about- “its about having a funcitoning board that understand civil discourse”???
Its about bringing common sense back to the meetings?
Or Its about no longer grandstanding?
And before all of you jump up on the AAA bond rating, and flat levy discussion- those are successes inherited from a much more functional board than the one that spent 2 hours word smithing a NON BINDING REFERENDUM or grandstanding on Prevailing wage- which is the law of the state and a simple unified statement against it would have made a much more professional and impactful statement.
