The invitation to the Algonquin Township Republican Party fundraiser on October 22nd at 11 AM.

We plan to have a great time eating an excellent lunch, hearing from some local leaders, and meeting some great people.

By now many of you have been asked to attend fundraisers. However, there are a few of you that have asked a very valid and important question:

Where is the money going and how will my donation help local Republicans? Here is our answer:

Your donations go to help fund our vibrant mail program that will reach out and touch over 10,000 voters in Algonquin Township. We will be doing this in two specific ways.

The first way your donation aids the party will be through the traditional mass mailer postcard that has been done by the ATRP the last two election cycles.

On one side we will have a “sample ballot” and names of our good Republican candidates and on the other side we will talk about why it is important to vote.

We will talk about what our local Republican Party has accomplished over the summer. Frankly, we have done a heck of a lot and we will do more this fall!

The second way your donation will help is with our precinct committeeman personal precinct letter.

This personalized letter to the precinct engages many independents and moderates as well as traditional Republicans and informs them of the races those elected and appointed precinct committeemen feel are important to them.

These mailers are quite expensive but also very powerful.

The more of these we can do the better!

While many of our committeemen can afford to do these mailers themselves some cannot – and we as a party want to support our committeemen who do so much for the party.

Some precincts have up to 650 letters… printing and postage adds up pretty quick with some of our larger precincts.

They, the precinct committeemen, are the backbone of our party.

It is a very rewarding job that doesn’t pay a dime.

It takes a lot of work and resources.

Most of our committeemen work door to door as well as a personal mailing.

We will also work and advertise on social media – specifically Facebook.

If you have not already would you please go to our Facebook Page and like it as well as share the page with your family, friends, and neighbors?

We need to build the Republican Party and one very effective way is through Facebook.

So please strongly consider donating to the Algonquin Township Republican Party and attending our fundraiser on October 22nd.

We all would be forever grateful for all of you and your support.

Finally, friends we cannot do this alone.

Please consider inviting your like minded friends, family, and coworkers.  The bigger success we have at this fundraiser the more impact we have in November.

  1. The Republicans have more Precinct Committeemen than Democrats in McHenry County.

That can be an advantage if the Precinct Committeemen campaign and solicit volunteers to assist in campaigning.
