A member of the McHenry County League of Women Voters told me today that State Rep. Jack Franks is expected to be a no-show at Monday nights candidate forum.
For some reason, “Chicken George” from “Roots” came to mind.
Although Chicken George didn’t fight, he at least trained his fighting roosters.
Guess no one trained “Chicken Jack.”

The County GOP should rent some shlub in a chicken suit to show up and spout off all of Jack’s lies, about term limits, running for county chairman and the like.
With a “Jack Franks” banner on the suit.
You tube it, social media it.
Maybe get clips of Jack’s radio and video lies and splice them together and put that on social media.
Also maybe foreclosed homes and the Franks law firm banner on it too.
John, actually, the LWV questions typically ARE scripted and if they have a favorite in a given race, that favorite has prepared answers.
