Former McHenry County Board member Kathy Bergan Schmidt has agreed to run for the McHenry County Board in place of Kenneth Miller, who died last Friday.

With Kathy Bergan Schmidt now taking Ken Miller’s spot on the fall ballot in District 3, the two Democrats who served at the turn of the decade may be returned to the McHenry County Board. Paula Yensen is again running in District 5.
Schmidt served one term, but was defeated when she ran for re-election four years ago.
Two years later, Bergan Schmidt ran again for the same office, but again failed to gain a spot on the County Board.

The 2014 General Election results for the District 3 McHenry County Board race.
Hmmm, wonder how long she will last ?
Look forward to voting against her, putting
Chris Christensen signs out & going door to
Door for Chris.
Does Chris know where his district is?
He should keep his signs in his district.
Well, his wife & I looked at the
HUGE DISTRICT MAP (they have
Posted in their garage by the signs)
Today for oh, about 15-20minutes.
Does Kathy have a good
Current map of the district ?
As if people don’t drive out of the artificial boundaries of a County Board district.
That’s all the county board needs is a crazy cat lady!
