Loud Party Complaint Leads to Weekend Drug Arrest

Brandon A. Rouse, 24, of Harvard was arrested for Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance early Saturday morning after deputies responded to a loud party complaint in McHenry Township.

On Saturday, at 1:52 a.m., the McHenry County Sheriff’s Patrol Division was dispatched toinvestigate a loud party on the 6700 block of Route 120 in unincorporated McHenry Township.

Upon arrival, Sheriff’s Deputies observed Brandon A. Rouse allegedly attempting to conceal a Controlled Substance.

Further investigation revealed Rouse was in possession of MDMA, commonly referred to as Ecstasy, and a residual amount of Cocaine.

Rouse was taken into custody without incident and transported to the McHenry County Adult Correctional Facility.

As a result of the investigation, Deputies seized MDMA with a street value of approximately $600.

Investigation to continue with additional charges possible.

The 24-year old Harvard resident was held on $175,000 bond and charged with

• Unlawful Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance (class X)
• Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (class 1)
• Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (class 4)
