Skillicorn Puts on Sticker on Northwest Herald

Here’s what I saw stuck on the front page of the Northwest Herald at Colonial Cafe this morning:

Republican State Rep. candidate Allen Skillicorn bought a sticker on the front page of the Northwest Herald Sunday that has his name, his phone and the words, "No Budget, No Pay."

The same slogan is being used by appointed Republican State Comptroller Leslie Munger in her election campaign.

Last spring, Munger decided not pay legislators until they passed a budget.

  1. Phony budget no pay would be even better.

We need a real state balanced budget requirement.

Too many loopholes in the current state balanced budget requirement.

The state for years has said the budget meets the balanced budget requirement, but the budget was not truly balanced, due to gimmicks.

  2. Heh, heh ….. he’d have gotten MUCH more for his money sending a personal letter to voters.

Who reads that rag anymore besides Brian Sager and his peanut gallery?

How much does that ‘sticker’ cost????

  3. Somebody tell him he can stop running for state rep already.

Can’t read the legally required fine print to know who paid for this.
