A new Political Action Committee called McHenry County GOPAC surfaced today with a mailing to County Board District 6 voters.
Financed with $20,800 from Mr. and Mrs. Vince Foglia, the officers are Joe Tirio, the Republican candidate for Recorder of Deeds, and Sascha Chadwick, who ran a write-in campaign for Crystal Lake Mayor in 2015 against incumbent Aaron Shepley.
The piece focuses on the contested Republican countywide candidates, county board candidates and the constitutional amendment.
The mailing that was delivered in the most sparsely-populated part of the county is below:
The address side emphasizes the importance of casting votes for candidates running for county office.
Candidates are listed on the back of the McHenry County GOPAC mailing, along with advice to vote against the constitutional amendment.

As a ‘paleo’ conservative, I note that the lame GOP mailer doesn’t bother to give any REASONS to vote for a particular candidate.
Please note I voted already and voted for all their picks, and I’m especially supportive of Tirio.
But c’mon, why can’t they bother to make a cogent case for these good people ….
