South High School Goes for Trump on Election Day

Having the opportunity to absorb the same information as others who voted last Tuesday, Crystal Lake South High School students voted for Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton.

    Cary Grove HS – 1,133 – Trump

    Crystal Lake Central HS – 832 – Trump

    Crystal Lake South HS – 832 – Trump

    Huntley HS – 1,098 – Trump

    Jacobs HS – 320 – Trump

    McHenry HS – 393 – Trump

    Prairie Ridge HS – 818 – Trump

    Woodstock North HS – 494 – Clinton

    Total – 5,920.

    Jill Stein – 44 – 49

  2. Leslie Munger is far more qualified than Susana Mendoza to be Illinois Comptroller.

    Leslie Munger has an MBA from Northwestern University and worked for 25 years in the private sector including a large company named Helene Curtis.

    Susana Mendoza is a Chicago Cook County Democrat with a government political background, first as 1st District State Representative and now as elected Chicago City Clerk.

    After Leslie Munger is sworn into office, the Democrats will hold all elected offices, other than Governor and Lieutenant Governor, in the Executive Branch of Illinois government.

    The former Treasurer was Republican Dan Rutherford who decided not to run for re-election in 2014.

    Rather, he was defeated by Bruce Rauner in the 2014 primary election for Governor.

    In the 2014 Republican primary for Treasurer, then 97th District State Representative Tom Cross defeated DuPage County Auditor Bob Grogan.

    Michael Frerichs defeated Republican Tom Cross in the 2014 general election for Treasurer.
