Honorable President, Board of Trustees and Staff,

Please be advised that Trustee Santowski has submitted a letter of resignation from his position as Village Trustee, effective December 31, 2016.

Trustee Santowski has served as a Trustee of the Village of Lakewood since May 2007 and his years of service and dedication to the community are very much appreciated.  We wish him continued success in his future endeavors.

As we move forward, President Smith will be considering candidates to fill the vacancy.  An official appointment is expected to be made at an upcoming Board meeting.

Santowski filed to run for Lakewood Village President, the office that Trustee Paul Serwatka is also seeking.
