A press from the McHenry  County Sheriff’s Department:

McHenry Man Arrested for Drug-Induced Homicide

Glen Miculinic,

Glen L. Miculinic, 65, of McHenry, was arrested today on Drug-Induced Homicide charges.

On January 11, 2017, McHenry County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the Shell gas station located at 2022 W. Rand Road, McHenry, Illinois, for an unresponsive male who was later pronounced dead.

Evidence located at the scene prompted Deputies to call the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Task Force (which includes members of the Lake in the Hills Police Department) to assist with the death investigation. During the course of the investigation, Detectives recovered evidence indicating that the deceased, 55, may have ingested heroin prior to his death.

Detectives also learned that Glen L. Miculinic allegedly supplied the heroin to him.

For the last three weeks, Detectives have worked closely with the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office and the McHenry County Coroner to collect sufficient evidence to be granted an arrest warrant for Glen L. Miculinic for Drug-Induced Homicide.

Today, members of the US Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Glen L. Miculinic without incident at his residence in McHenry, Illinois. Miculinic was then transported to McHenry County Correctional Facility and left in their custody.
