Walsh Endorses in Township Primaries

Former Congressman Joe Walsh, now a radio talk show host for WIND 560 AM radio starting at 5 PM weekdays, has an organization called Walsh Freedom.

He keeps in touch with supporters via the internet and periodic gatherings at his Mundelein home.

Walsh’s organization has endorsed candidates in the Algonquin and Nunda Republican Primary Elections, plus McHenry Townships general election.

  • Andrew Gasser, Algonquin Township Highway Commissioner
  • Steven Verr, McHenry Township Supervisor
  • Dan Aylward, McHenry Township Clerk
  • Cate Williams, Nunda Township Supervisor
  • Mark Dzemske, Nunda Township Assessor
  • Eric Dowd, Nunda Township Highway Commissioner
  • Tim Parrish, Nunda Township Trustee
  • Rob Parrish, Nunda Township Trustee
  • Mike Shorten, Nunda Township Trustee

There are also three candidates from Dundee Township in Kane County:

  • Jonathan Radke, Dundee Township Supervisor
  • Michael Rogers, Dundee Township Highway Commissioner
  • Marc Collura, Dundee Township Trustee

Going with such endorsements are usually people handing out literature for the endorsed candidates.

  1. Joe Walsh knows somewhere between little or nothing about McHenry County or most of the candidates.

  2. With Joe’s endorment of Andrew, all the Alg Twh Dem with cross in the Primary and vote Rep for Bob.
