2.3% of the registered voters in McHenry County–5,228–had voted early or by absentee ballot as of the end of Monday.

5,288 or 2.3% of those registered to vote in McHenry County cast ballots before election day.
Two years ago 10.9% of the registered voters cast ballots. That was 22,512 votes.
Four years ago, when township offices were also on the ballot, 16.15% of those registered or 32,963 people voted.
@Cal – Is there still data from previous elections posted somewhere?
I tried to look up the results from previous elections, but I was unable to find results without reading news articles.
I am really curious how the vote turns out, in regards to total numbers.
