Hultgren Holding Town Hall Meeting in St. Charles Tuesday — 17 Comments

  1. It’s good to see that he finally found the courage to speak with those he serves.

I find his comments somewhat humorous. He sounds like he is always communicating with folks.

He has been very difficult to find these past months.

  2. Mr. Hultgren’s web page and social media is a good source of information on his actions, views, and transparency.

    He’s a conservative US Representative.

Which means the tic tock agitators want public forums to agitate, protest, and ask questions to achieve their political agenda (yes we know the League of Women’s Voters are moderators of this forum).

Will be interesting to see how that plays out Tuesday in St. Charles.

  3. Remember in 2009 when being “angry” at our government in town hall meetings during the health care reform process was cool, appropriate and very patriotic?

How entertaining the microscopic view of democracy is from my compassionate conservative friends.

    We know them too well.

    2018, are you here already?

    Tic tock, tic tock…

  4. Mark, your correct it’s sad that people now only want town halls to degrade their representatives not encourage them, or learn their views, or even to have a civil debate.

  5. Joe Walsh would be having so much fun at Town Hall Meetings if he were still our Congressman.

  6. Cal,

Joe Walsh should have been investigated for his threat against our former President. You seem to support that type of behavior, based on the recent local investigation.

There is a reason ole speak first think later Joe is a one-and-done Representative. Now he just spews and curses those he supports in elections. Kindda like you.

  7. Tom? I hope you’re not speaking of the foreign-born, illegal alien, gay prostitute, lying, Marxist, deep state CIA agent that was usurping our Capitol for eight years.

  8. Please, show more respect for our sunshine blogger. He served us well as a state representative for eight years and continues his heroic effort to achieve a planet without taxes where every human being survives by him/herself. Sunshine blogger, please accept the apologies of this entire community of decent, well-mannered commenters. 2018, are you here yet? Tic, tock, tic, tock…

  9. Cal Skinner was an Illinois State Representative for 16 years.

    1973 – 1981.

    1993 – 2001.

He does not advocate a planet without taxes where every human being survives by him/herself.

He does volunteer weekly at the local food pantry.

  10. Sixteen years as a Rep. who most Republicans saw as a “pain in the #$$. If you add in his years in the bureaucracy, does anyone think the deserves a 75,000 per year pension? This is a much higher pension than the average teacher’s pension who served more years and had a darn harder job.

  11. Dear sunshine blogger: Easter is the perfect day to announce your candidacy for president of the McHenry county board and finish once and for all the dictatorship, threats, and abuses of Jack Franks over 23 republicans. Please liberate all of us. The slogan “He is risen” would go perfect with your campaign as you return from retirement to serve well our county, state and country. Never mind the insults you received in the post above. We trust you. I volunteer to continue moderating this blog in the same responsible and balanced way you always have. 2018, are you here already? Tic, tock, tic, tock…

  12. Randy Hultgren looked pathetic last night; scared to death of the public and about defending tronald dump and his luxury vacations. The special election in Georgia last night is a clear message to republicans of what is coming in 17 months. To my dear Randy and all republican congressman and congresswomen also go my tic, tock, tic, tock…

  13. Dear sunshine blogger: I am sure you are about to release a lengthy post on the ridiculous answers Randy Hultgren gave to his constituents last night during his town hall meeting in Saint Charles; particularly those pertaining to health care, foreign policy and our sexual-assaulter-in-chief tronald dump. Say what? Your camera malfunctioned again? Yup! 2018, please do not delay…Tic, tock, tic, tock…

  14. The event was not in McHenry County and I was at the Crystal Lake High School Board meeting last night.

Feel free to share what you heard and saw.

  15. Isn’t it true Randy Hultgren represents areas of our beautiful McHenry county? Just asking…Our sunshine blogger, making us feel proud again. How is your camera doing? 2018, please do not delay…Tic, tock, tic, tock.

  16. Call Randy to support elimination of ESL in all public schools subject to receipt of federal tax dollars.

  17. Question: “Mr. Hultgren, How much money did you receive from the NRA?” Mr. Hultgren: “I’m not sure…what’s the NRA?…I’ll get back to you on that…probably something between $1 and a billion…I’m not sure…” 2018, are you here already? Tic, tock, tic, tock…
