There is a lot to know about local government law and local elected officials knowing the basics can save the taxpayers money.
Every year the General Assembly passes new laws applying to local government, and new case law is established.
It is seemingly never ending.
At some point it will have to be simplified.
Otherwise in another 100 years it will be completely ridiculous.
