Wayne Jett Spends $26,500 to Win McHenry Mayoral Election

Setting what may be a new record  to win the top spot in a McHenry County municipality, Wayne Jett spent a bit over $26,500 during January, February and March.

The election was April 4th, so some money may have been spent after the end of the reporting period.

$32,653.88 was loaned to the campaign.

Most–$20,000–was loaned by Sandi Dominie, Director of Operations for Jett’s Heating & Air Inc.  The rest came from the candidate himself.

Jett did receive $4,605 in contributions.

Those reported by name (ones over $150) follow:

  • $240 – Kim & Patty’s Cafe, McHenry
  • $155 – Kathleen Miller, Wonder Lake

And he started the year with $1,625.68.

  1. Jett had signs up in October, what are the total campaign expenses dating back to before then?

  2. I am just amazed at how much even a local election costs.

  3. That sum and accounting are a pack of lies!

    I was standing behind him at Home Depot and Jett bought $200 worth of rebar in September, 2016!

    Where’d that entry? Oh, the rebar must have been used for his very late tomato plants
