I wanted to provide you a with brief, but significant update.

This morning I accepted the resignation of our Lakewood Chief of Police, Leigh Rawson. 

I will provide you with a more detailed update on this very soon, and I am confident you will be quite pleased as we move forward with plans for a top-to-bottom restructuring of our Police Dept. – with the utmost consideration being given to both public safety and Lakewood resident tax burdens (and in that order!).
