Craig Wilcox State Senate Fundraiser Kickoff September 21st — 5 Comments

  1. State Senate District 32 is currently held by Republican Pam Althoff who is not seeking re-election at the March 20, 2018 primary.

  2. As a 30 year veteran I am always amused when my fellow brothers and sisters continue to use their rank after they leave/retire from the uniformed services. Been there, done that and it is time to move on. Wilcox needs to make a name for Craig Wilcox not ride the coat tails of his successful military career. Davis Harris doesn’t campaign on General David Harris.

  3. I am sure that Colonel Wilcox earned the right to use his title.

Anyone running for office is sure to publicize their prior accomplishments.

Thank you Colonel Wilcox for your service and sacrifices.

  4. Who is Craig Wilcox?
Wilcox buys mansion in McHenry for $502,000.
Wilcox pays property taxes of $15k for 2 years.
Last year, when he gets on the board, Wilcox takes exemption and pays nothing in property taxes.
House according to Zillow now worth 634k.

Wilcox is paid with tax dollars but he won’t pay taxes. He golfed 18 holes last week with the council of governments but claims he is too disabled to work. Schmuck

  5. @Patriot,

    Let’s reiterate.

What does a tax exemption and a golf game have to do with his qualifications for State Senate???

He has done nothing to you.

You and your minions- criticize on a blind platform.

He purchased a home for his family because he earned it.

    It’s called “work”.

To be disabled enough to qualify for a tax credit established two years ago well after he purchased his home and paid full 100% of his taxes – as some sort of a “win” is mind boggling.

No one saw this exemption coming.. no one!

You quoting Zillow as value says enough for your intelligence level.

Where again did he say or ever imply he won’t pay taxes??

Might as well throw all the disabled, senior and homestead exemptions in the mix too.. oh wait that wont work it would be you/your family.

He and his family has paid beyond “taxes” his entire life!

It’s an exemption which goes bye-bye any day according to the state law.

He decided to give back yet again to serve his county and his constituents for what, to be ridiculed for cleaning up what is left.

So let me get this straight, a retired disabled Colonel is a “Schmuck”?

No wonder the Land of Lincoln is the Land of Leaving.

Voting is simple…get your facts straight and head to the polls-PERIOD!
