  1. Ersel,

Good luck and thanks for standing up for the citizens of MCC, you’ve got my vote !

  2. Ersel Schuster and Orville Brettman have announced they are Republican candidates for McHenry County Board District 6.

The two of four incumbents in district 6 up for re-election in 2018, as mentioned above, are Republicans Michele Aavang and Larry Smith.

Current County Board members and their terms are located here:

District 6 represents western McHenry County including Harvard, Marengo, western and northern Woodstock, parts of Huntley, and more.

McHenry County doesn’t make it too easy for voters unsure if they are registered to vote, don’t know their precinct, don’t know their elected officials or their property taxing districts, etc.

But if one can’t find what they are looking for, just call, email, contact or visit the McHenry County Clerk’s office (not the Circuit Clerk) at 815-334-4242, 667 Ware Road, Woodstock.

The State Board of Elections has a Registration Lookup, but it can be picky.

McHenry County has a voting location lookup if one knows their Precinct (a lot of people don’t know their precinct).

  3. Ersel and Orville 2 top candidates for Dist 6….we would be lucky to have them both

But the thing that no one has mentioned or even thought about is in a room full of
republicans a lot of us refused to sign Rauners petition…that should make a statement

  4. It will be a real pleasure to vote for both Ersel and Orv.

The current District 6 Board Members don’t have enough vertebrae between them to construct a single spine.

  5. After the public humiliation at the county fair, I’m surprised Aavang would bother to run.
