Possession of Child Pornography Arrest
Domenique Hines
On Wednesday, October 4, 2017, Domenique D. Hines* (20) of 955 Golf Course Road #4, Crystal Lake, IL, was arrested on a warrant subsequent to an ongoing investigation alleging he had solicited a child (age 14), a resident of Illinois to engage in sexual conduct.
The matter initially came to the attention of the Crystal Lake Police Department after receiving a complaint that Hines had solicited the child via social media.
The Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit conducted the investigation, which led to an additional investigation involving a different victim, resulting in the issuance of another arrest warrant for Hines.
Hines reportedly met this second victim, a resident of Maryland and also a child (age 15), through Facebook and other social media venues in June 2017, and had been communicating with the child since.
Dialogue developed to that of a sexual nature, which resulted in Hines gaining the trust of the child and obtaining several sexually suggestive nude images of the child over a period of time.
As a result of the initial investigation, Hines was charged with:
- Indecent Solicitation of a Child, 720 ILCS 5/11-6(a) Class 3 Felony
On October 6, 2017, Hines was served with a twenty-two count complaint for the following
offenses relating to the second victim:
- Child Pornography, 720 ILCS 5/11-20.1(a)(4) Class 1 Felony x 10
- Child Pornography, 720 ILCS 5/11-20.1(a)(6) Class 3 Felony x 10
- Indecent Solicitation of a Child, 720 ILCS 5/11-6(a) Class 3 Felony x 1
- Grooming, 720 ILCS 5/11-25(a) Class 4 Felony x 1
Domenique Hines was confined at the McHenry County Jail where he currently remains in
custody, with his bond set at $100,000. His next court date is October 24, 2017 at the McHenry
County Courthouse.
*All defendants are presumed innocent unless found guilty in a court of law.
A future cellmate for Mel Reynolds ?

Mel Reynolds was convicted of a Federal crime, not a state crime.
Different prisons.
If the crime committed is interstate (across state lines), in this case as described above as State of
Maryland, it then becomes a federal offense.
He should be praying the feds take him.
We need more Section 8 housing so we can attract more people like this to give us more Diversity.
