Vice President Diane Evertsen now steps into his shoes until a replacement can be elected.

MCC BOARD SEEKS NEW TRUSTEE TO SERVE THROUGH APRIL 2019
[November 17, 2017.Crystal Lake, IL] The McHenry County College (MCC) Board of Trustees has an immediate opening for a new board member. According to the Illinois Public Community College Act- whether filling a vacancy or running for election- all candidates for the position must meet the following eligibility requirements. A candidate must be:
- A U.S. Citizen
- A resident of the community college district (MCC District #528)
- At least 18 years of age
The Board invites all who are interested in serving as trustee to submit both a cover letter and a resume. Cover letters and resumes may be emailed, faxed, or mailed to:

Currently, the MCC Board of Trustees includes: Diane Evertsen, Vice Chair (Harvard); Linda Liddell, Crystal Lake; Ron Parrish, Woodstock; Mike Smith, Lakewood; Karen Tirio, Woodstock; Molly Walsh, Crystal Lake; and student trustee Zuri Vazquez, Woodstock. The new trustee, once appointed, will fill the position through the April 2019 election. If interested, that person may then stand for election in April 2019 to serve a full term.
