Three State Senators represent McHenry County.  Pam Althoff has announced she is retiring and running for the County Board.

In her 32nd District two candidates have announced for office, John Reinert and Craig Wilcox.

Wilcox is the only one to have filed so far.

Dan McConchie, appointed to replace Dan Duffy after he won the GOP Primary, has filed for re-election.

The third State Senate seat up for grabs is that of Karen McConnaughay.

She has filed for re-election.

McHenry County has four State Representatives covering parts of McHenry County.

Filing to replace retiring State Rep. Steve Andersson is Dan Ugaste of Geneva.

State Rep. Allen Skillicorn has filed for re-election, as has State Representatives David McSweeney.

State Rep. Steve Reick has not yet filed for re-election.
